Congratulations on your new digs! Finely constructed with subtle refinements. Light and airy. Reminds me of the airport at Copenhagen. I love the layout and the furnishings, but most of all the art.

Lovely site Mr. Johns. Looking forward to following along here.

Seriously. I think I'm in love. Your style quiet lovely m'dear.

Cheers to the new! \o/

Damn! There's some high-quality commenters here! Thanks friends. I'm excited about the new digs. Time for me to get drawing.

I ♥ the new look. Keep drawing, Marc!

Looks great!

Your bad ass mayo jars drawing arrived the other day... I am looking forward to framing it and putting it up in my study. I'm a linguist by trade and find the relationships between your texts and drawings really interesting (would be a nice case study for a PhD on multimodal analysis!).

If you ever draw anymore jars, I'd love to buy an original! :) I also really liked the rocking horse!

  • Marc Johns makes drawings and puts them on this blog, and sometimes he makes them for people like National Geographic, Google, Wired, Newsweek, Tommy Hilfiger, and Harper Collins. He has a book called I MADE THESE DRAWINGS FOR YOU. Many of his fans have tattoos of his drawings.

He lives with his wife Kristen, two sons, and his drawer full of pens in Victoria, BC, Canada. Marc also finds it strange to talk about himself in the third person.
