Amok is a lovely word, it should be used more often. Delightfully sinister picture. You have a very imaginative imagination.

Didn't check out the Twitter poll, so sorry if I'm telling you something you already knew - BUT: the odd-looking spelling 'amok' is actually also how we both pronounce and write the word in Danish (bearing the same meaning as in English as well). So you're kinda bilingual now. Well, maybe you already were, but you know...

Marc Johns

Hi Lisa, thanks so much for sharing this! If amok is how you spell it in Danish, then that pretty much seals the deal. Hurray for the internet!

Lisa

Haha, yeah... no turning back now.

Elise

Amok is ALSO how we spell it in swedish, so huzzah! -You´re now trilingual!
And, may i say, your drawings are absolutely, totally and utterly fabulous!!
Though they sometimes make me wonder what it looks like inside your head.. Perhaps a drawing to illustrate that?
