I'm not sure I can describe it's meaning exactly, but I'll give it a shot.
It's basically about imperfection. A loaf of bread looks perfect on the outside, but then you slice it, and find there are holes inside.
So if I were a piece of bread, I'd probably have a hole, the kind that when you try to spread on peanut butter, it flows through the hole and makes a bit of a mess. A great deal of my drawings are about identity, and about how we try to portray an ideal self through brand names, or through the adoption of trends. It's all a bit of a silly game, but we all participate to varying degrees (myself included). But deep inside, beneath the surface, we are all imperfect (like a slice of bread).
