Ink & watercolour on paper, 8x10 inches. The original drawing is SOLD available.
This drawing is part of a little series of people and books. I got the idea one day while riding the bus. I was looking at the books people were reading, and wondering if there might be an interesting story behind what led them to choose to read the particular titles.
I love books, and bookstores. When I would have a particularly stressful day at my last day job, I'd lose myself in the endless aisles of Russell Books, a big and wonderful local book shop, which was down the street from the office.
Check for other available drawings and signed prints.

Pure awesome (I'm also a huge fan of books).

I always enjoy your work, Marc, but today you managed to make me guffaw.
I am highly anticipating seeing more in this series.

Interesting sideview of your character. Mostly we only see the frontview.
(And your drawings anyway as always amazing!)

True, hr.gross, I don't usually do the profile view! I need to mix it up a bit. Not sure if this is accurate when compared to the front view, but I think it works well enough.
