One bird, three legs, I've seen this before : http://www.awful-drawings.com/post/11990241386/thelist

Marc Johns

Hi Jim, I've never seen that one before. If you really want to get into a "he thought of that before you" kind of scenario, I drew this piece about being reincarnated into an unfortunate object back in 2007, long before Awful Drawings/Matthieu's list on Tumblr.

Also, I've done many drawings with people with extra limbs in the past, like this man with 3 arms from 2008, this man with too many arms (from 2006 - that's before Tumblr even existed), and this man with too many legs (also 2006). Who's copying who now? Extra limbs has been an ongoing theme for me.

I know for a fact that Matthieu's been inspired by my work. He's been in touch with me, he's a nice guy, and good at what he does. I'm not going to bother throwing around accusations of copying based on a single image, and neither should you.
