Ink and watercolour on paper, 8x10 inches. The original drawing is SOLD available.
Of course I don't actually believe that elephants should have stripes. This is more of a comment on our tendancy, as silly humans, to constantly try to have something new to sell, even if it means tinkering with nature (like seeds). Sometimes our tinkering gets out of control.
On a side note, I'm particularly happy with how I managed to get some decent shadows with watercolours this time (although I will admit there's lots of chance involved). I'm trying to embrace more and more the unique properties of watercolours instead of fighting with them so much.
Check for other available drawings and signed prints in the shop.

I love that you went for pink stripes against a grey elephant. Such luxurious, calming colours - although I can't imagine a real elephant with real pink stripes would be a happy creature lol!

Thanks, This Is Lemonade! There's something about gray and pink that really works (must have been inspired by my wife's wardrobe).
