Marc Johns’ drawings have been exhibited in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Athens, and elsewhere. He has just published a new book of drawings:
I MADE THESE DRAWINGS FOR YOU. His first book,
Serious Drawings, was published by teNeues.
His drawings have appeared in many other books, as well as publications such as National Geographic, Wired, Newsweek, and the New York Times Sunday Magazine.
His work is blogged about by someone, somewhere, every day, and many of his fans have
tattoos of his drawings.
He lives with his wife
Kristen, two sons, and his drawer full of pens in Victoria, BC, Canada. Marc also finds it strange to talk about himself in the third person.

Ha! These are great! We don't have them often in the UK anymore, they've been pretty much universally replaced by sticky "ties". Pity that.

I like these! Pretty much the best and funnest things things I've seen today. Nice.

Hi Janet, I had no idea they were called Occlupanids! Thanks for those links. As I was clicking through that site all I could think of was 'wow'. Crazy. The phylogenetic tree is particularly inspired!
