Marc Johns’ drawings have been exhibited in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Athens, and elsewhere. He has just published a new book of drawings:
I MADE THESE DRAWINGS FOR YOU. His first book,
Serious Drawings, was published by teNeues.
His drawings have appeared in many other books, as well as publications such as National Geographic, Wired, Newsweek, and the New York Times Sunday Magazine.
His work is blogged about by someone, somewhere, every day, and many of his fans have
tattoos of his drawings.
He lives with his wife
Kristen, two sons, and his drawer full of pens in Victoria, BC, Canada. Marc also finds it strange to talk about himself in the third person.

Question - Are you on instagram? If so, I must have totally missed out, and if not: PLEASE join! I find myself looking for your drawings in my feed all the time! Would love to follow you there and I'm pretty sure many people feel the same. So that would be great. You're simply the best, take care!

Thanks for all the great comments!
Sona: as for why I am not on Instagram, it's because I don't own a smart phone, and you can't get an Instagram account without one. I have no use for a smart phone at the moment - my wife and I like to keep life as simple as possible! Also, Instagram has some very agressive terms in their user agreement, which I don't agree with. So you'll just have to follow the blog! Thanks for asking about it though.
