I've been making quite a few drawings without any pre-sketching or penciling lately, and creating parts of the image with just watercolour (no outlines). It's been amazingly liberating, and has led to a whole bunch of new drawings. It's amazing how altering your approach, even just a little, can unleash a slew of new ideas.
