8 x 11 inch WALL CALENDAR
Like the last 2 years, I’ve put together an 8x11 inch wall calendar. Each month is printed on an individual sheet of cardstock, and the whole calendar is held together with a silver binding clip. Put the current month in the front, remove individual pages and use them as prints, or display them however you want. OMG so much freedom.
16 x 20 inch BIG POSTER CALENDAR
For the first time I’ve created poster calendars! These are 16x20 inches, printed on archival, acid-free, durable matte paper. There are two to choose from: What to focus on, and Don’t forget to play.

What you see here is a mockup, printed out at home. I need to finalize the artwork, and go over everything with a fine tooth comb before I send it off to the printers.

I made this drawing for Lebowskiland, an art show that opens tomorrow (June 28) at Land Gallery in Portland, Oregon. The exhibit celebrates the 20th anniversary of The Big Lebowski, and all the artwork is based on or inspired by the movie.
The show has some AMAZING artists participating (see the list here), so if you're in Portland, go check it out. Even Jeff Bridges (yes, THE Jeff Bridges, the actor who plays the title character) contributed some art!
What's unique (to me, anyway) about this show is that pretty much all of the art is available as prints, so it's super affordable.

Creative block can be super tough. Staring at a blank screen or a blank canvas, not sure what to write or paint... It happens to me all the time. But I've managed to develop a bag of tricks over the years that helps me break through creative block. A big part of it is I carry around a notebook with me wherever I go. I've been doing this for over 10 years.

I wanted to do a live class, instead of a pre-recorded online course, so that you can watch me fumble and mess up, but mostly so you can post questions and I can answer them, right there during the live stream. It’s only $25, and will last an hour, maybe more depending on how many questions I get.
There’s a TON of bad advice out there about print-on-demand, urging artists to try to game the system through all kinds of slimy tricks. I will NOT teach you that, because you are an artist, not a swindler, and besides it doesn’t work.
